With one-pump systems (systems having only a primary cooling water pump) up until now, it has not been possible to have a combined operation of both an inverter chiller and a fixed speed chiller because the chilled water pump for the inverter machine is put under too much load.
At DAIICHI KOGYO, we have solved this problem by modifying the system. Therefore, now when carrying out repairs or improvement work on equipment, it is easy for us to introduce an inverter chiller into the system. Once modified, the system can run at optimal operation by utilizing the high COP possessed by the inverter chiller for both the chilled water pump and the cooling water pump and deliver excellent energy savings.
